The Outdoor Retailer Summer Market – the largest trade show in the outdoor industry – is next week, and we here at Big City Mountaineers are excited to celebrate our 30thanniversary with our outdoor industry partners, friends, volunteers, and Colorado supporters. We’re feeling grateful for all the support we’ve received over the last 30 years. We’re very fortunate that many of our corporate partners are hosting events, happy hours, and sales directly benefitting Big City Mountaineers youth programs. Wenzel Blanket Sale, June 18-20, 2-6 pm
Purchase the Wenzel “Camp Quilt – Alpine” custom blanket from 2-6 pm throughout the show (while supplies last) for $20, with all proceeds supporting BCM. If folks can’t carry their blanket or take it home, Wenzel will provide a coupon code for online purchases.

Big City Mountaineers x Smartwool Happy Hour, June 17 4-7 pm
Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery, 1139 20th St., Denver, Colorado
Join us as we celebrate our 30th anniversary with those in the outdoor industry who’ve helped us reach this milestone.
Jagged Mountain Craft Brewery will donate $1 to Big City Mountaineers for every pint or half-pint sold between 4-7 pm. Additionally, Smartwool and BCM will be raffling off Smartwool apparel, socks and other outdoor gear, as well as making a donation of socks to Jagged Mountain’s “Jagged Pack Project” that collects and distributes essential supplies to homeless men, women and families in the Denver area. Hawker’s Bowls will be on site if you decide you need a bite to eat.

Bogs Happy Hour with Tin Cup Whiskey Cocktails on June 18, 4-6 pm
All proceeds from the happy hour will benefit BCM youth programs.
Osprey Happy Hour, June 19 4:30-6 pm
Osprey is taking the Summer Outdoor Retailer Plastic Impact Promise a step further and encouraging their Happy Hour attendees to bring their own reusable pint cup. For every reusable pint cup attendees bring to Osprey’s Happy Hour on Day 2, Osprey will fill it with beer and make a $6 donation to Big City Mountaineers.

Many Colorado and national conservation organizations, outdoor industry companies, and diverse community leaders, are coming together again to host a large and memorable event at this summer’s Outdoor Retailer Summer Market. Let’s take action on a host of issues from climate, to public lands, to water issues, to making sure the outdoor community and industry is inclusive, equitable, and diverse. SOLE, ReCORK and Scream Agency invite you to join us in celebrating Business for Good. This event will feature enlightening talks from forward thinkers, including 1% for the Planet members and current B Corp manufacturers that are making ethical and environmentally sustainable business choices.
Wine, available for a $5 donation, starts at 3:30 p.m., with all proceeds benefitting Big City Mountaineers. There will be prize drawings throughout the event, including a grand prize raffle.
Stanley Happy Hour, June 19, 4-6 pm
Outdoor Social Club at Outdoor Retailer, Main Street Level
Relax with a drink and learn how to cook in the outdoors with Stanley’s new Even-Heat Camp Pro Cook Set and Kitchen Unnecessary’sAshley Rodriguez. A $10 donation gets you a beer in your very own Stanley Classic Pint plus a raffle ticket to win some great prizes. All funds will benefit BCM.
