Ways to get involved


Since 1990, we’ve led trips into the wilderness to instill critical life skills in under-resourced youth ages 8-18. BCM’s program sponsors allow us to continue to build sustainable and impactful programs across the nation.

High-quality clothing and equipment is crucial in ensuring our kids have a warm, safe and engaged experience in the great outdoors. Plus, a positive first experience is more likely to inspire students to return to the wilderness.

Every year, hundreds of adventurers take part in this exciting fundraising campaign to raise money for BCM. The collective efforts of our climbers help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for our programs.

Our volunteer adult mentors are the heart and soul of our organization. They execute programs in the field and help our youth build empathy, resilience and better awareness of their own personal strengths.
